Maura and Talya have been working together since their early modeling careers. The have collaborated on numerous projects ranging from rental renovations to multi million dollar projects for some of the finest properties owned by some of the most exacting clients. Now, together, they are leveraging their decades of experience and innate talent to create personalized luxury spaces.
Talya Caras
Divided equally between Rhode Island, the British Virgin Islands and Delray Beach, TCM co-founder Talya Caras specializes in creating calm-yet-stunning residential environments. With a flair for modern design, Talya brings illumination, airy sophistication, vibrant colors, and lush textures into every room, conjuring jaw-dropping experiences that inspire and delight.
Passions for merging modern sophistication with soothing aesthetics mean her results are both luxurious and welcoming. With an attention to detail and to bespoke design, Talya molds spaces into breathtaking expressions of her clients' lives, combining beauty with value in every development.
Maura Carney
Since an early age, I was involved in the design and build world, completing commercial and residential developments for my family-owned real estate firm. Learning by doing — and quickly — I was given hands-on experience coordinating all aspects of a job: from permits and demolitions to reconstruction and managing an entire team of subcontractors.
Throughout the years, I have worked on a variety of projects, from demolishing and reconstructing abandoned homes, rehabbing "tired" homes for rental or resale, and collaborating with architects, builders, and homebuyers to design entirely new homes from 1,800 to 8,000 square feet. No matter what the project, I have learned from all of them that an excellent design is about more than looks — it's about vision, coordination, and implementation.
